Heat Recovery System

A heat recovery system is a technology designed to capture and reuse waste heat generated by various processes, improving energy efficiency and reducing overall energy costs. These systems are commonly used in industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and even residential settings to recover heat from exhaust air, wastewater, or industrial processes.

  • Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV): Used in buildings to recover heat from outgoing stale air and use it to warm incoming fresh air, improving indoor air quality without wasting energy.
  • Energy Recovery Ventilation (ERV):Similar to HRV but also recovers humidity, making it ideal for climates with high humidity levels.
  • Heat Exchangers:Used in industrial settings, where heat from exhaust gases is transferred to another medium (air or liquid) to preheat combustion air or fluids.
  • Waste Heat Recovery Boilers:Capture heat from industrial processes and use it to generate steam or hot water for heating.
